As a college student with more than enough on my plate I

never took modeling too seriously or thought of it as anything

but a hobbie. Little did I know it started to slowly recapture

my interest as I started to shoot for various photographers

such as Natasha Overton and Saswat Pattanayak. I really enjoy

doing lifestyle shoots rather than dramatic ones due to my

preference of showing my natural beauty in contrast with

covering it up with something artificial. Don't get me wrong

on this point because I do enjoy themed shoots, like my most

recent one based on the 60's. I actually found that quite

interesting and a lot of fun because it gave me the chance to

relive moments of a time period before I was even born. To

think of it, those lifestyle and themed photoshotos are

probably the best jobs because of the excess room it allows

for me to be myself yet someone else, exercise mysteriously

yet stay conservative. I hope I didn't lose you yet!

Ever since I was young I was too old for my age because I was

one of those girly girls who painted my nails when I was only

3, trodding closely behind the footsteps of my mom and aunt.

Reminiscing with a smile I even recall waking my dad from his

sleep to have HIM do my nails while the other females in the

house were busy doing their own. At an early age I loved

playing dress-up, putting on red lipstick that looked like a

pair of chili peppers instead, buying heels and picking out my

own clothes. I probably wasn't born to be this way but I guess

I just grew to adapt to it after being a "Baby Alive" doll for

my mom and aunt. I remember the random things they used to put

in my hair and the stylish (or so they thought) clothes they

threw on my 2T body. Well at least that's what they did until

I learned to rip them off and slip into something else when

they went to grab a clean diaper! Finally I'd have to say I

owe my style of shoes to my dad because he was the one who

went to shop with me for hours and hours on end to get me the

pair that fit best, looked best and ultimately "clickidy-

clocked" best. Whether it was $5 or $50, price didn't matter

as long as this princess liked it. To him I was worth it. I

still treasure tall sheepskin lined boots and those gold

buckled ankle boots made of Italian leather which bring back

fond memories of my childhood. Luxurious much? Maybe not for

some but for me I'd say so.

My modeling/actress experience started with an ice cream

commercial, so far back I don't even remember the exact

company it was for. All I do recall however, is decorating my

cup of ice cream while keeping an eye on the person next to

the cameraman who held up smiley signs. Adding on, my make-up

preference for modeling is very simple. I don't need the

world's top make-up artist to work with and neither do I need

a sophisticated hairdresser to pin my updos. I prefer doing my

own makeup when possible or leaving my skin bare as makeup

really isn't my thing unless its asked for because I praise

natural beauty. Eyeliners, yeah they enhance the beauty of the

eyes but foundation, mascara, blush and all the works- I would

honestly rather sleep for an extra 45 minutes. I don't

disapprove of women who wear makeup, I just don't share the

same interest in them myself, and neither do I deem it

necessary at such a young age when my skin is still radiant

and beautiful. Through this I might come off as just any

typical girl you bump into on the streets but that's exactly

what I want to be, a typical girl with a side noone knows

until the curtain lifts.
